Bill Henderson – Pastor
Bill is our commissioned Pastor. Bill holds degrees from Wheaton College, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and King’s College at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Bill enjoys traveling with his wife Georgiann, seeing family and friends around the country (now that he has time in retirement). In addition, he is an avid book reader and dabbles with Biblical archaeology, amateur radio, and family genealogy.
Aaron Hicks – Pastor
Starting October 1, Aaron Hicks will be our full-time called pastor. Aaron earned his degree in Industrial Engineering at Cornell University. In 1994, he married Holly and moved to Gordon-Conwell Seminary. In 1998, Aaron earned his MDiv, was ordained in the Presbyterian Church, and began working as a pastor. In 2006, Aaron and Holly arrived in Granada, Spain with the goal of ministering to the international community. From 2009 to 2026, Aaron served as a pastor at the Reconciliation Church in Granada. Aaron and Holly have four adult children – Ana, Daniel, Tomás, and Bethany. In his free time, Aaron enjoys playing sports and studying history.
Kevin Ware – Director of Operations
Kevin coordinates church administration, graphic design, marketing, IT, AV, the website, communications, and various other aspects of church life. Kevin has a Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Northeastern Seminary. Kevin also has a BS and MS from RPI and has worked for more than 30 years as an IT consultant. Kevin enjoys reading, woodworking, playing drums and bass in the worship band, preaching, and spending time with his wife and two adult daughters.
Kevin Kermani – Facilities Lead
Kevin works closely with our Buildings and Grounds Team, bringing a wealth of experience in property management and construction. In his spare time, he also volunteers with the Hoag’s Corners Fire Department in East Nassau.
Jennifer Gibbons – Custodian
Jennifer works with our Buildings and Grounds Team and Kevin Kermani to keep our building clean and beautiful.
Bob Schmidt – Controller
Bob oversees many of the financial functions of the church. Bob is married to Kathy and has a wonderful adult daughter. Bob is a native to the Capital Region and loves the area. Bob is involved in local politics and owns a small insurance agency.

Pastor Emeritus – Harry Heintz
Harry Heintz served as pastor of Brunswick Church for 38 years (1974-2012). He is married to Rachel and has wonderful children and grandchildren he loves to be with. He now lives in Rochester where he teaches, preaches, and enjoys life. Pastor Emeritus is an honorary status awarded to someone honorably retired from a particular position by election of the congregation.
