This our second annual prayer event and you may recall that last year’s was very well received.

On Thursday, May 2nd, Brunswick Church invites those in our local community to adjust their usual route and let a “Pray Drive-Thru” empower their day! This prayer-to-go event will run from 7am to 7pm at Brunswick Church’s lower parking lot on Rt. 351. 

Motorists are invited to stop briefly, receive a hot cup of coffee and be lifted in prayer on the spot. Whether it’s offering God praise for recent blessings or asking for a needed miracle, a friendly face will greet you and offer to pray for a few moments before bidding you a great day in the sure knowledge that you matter to God and to people in your community. No prayer is too big or too small, and you decide what details to share. God knows the details!

Here are a few more details regarding this event:

• On Thursday, May 2, from 7am to 7pm, we’ll greet passing motorists on Rt. 351 and offer to pray for them. We’ll offer them a fresh, hot coffee to go (with a side order of prayer) and a fresh baked muffin or cookie as they go on their way. 
• We’ll also give them a small token with the message, YOU MATTER TO GOD and YOU MATTER TO US!
• We’re excited and can’t wait to see who we meet. It will be our privilege to lift concerns and praises with people that day.
• In between praying with motorists, we will be praying together for needs you tell us about and for our church and our community.
• And most important to understand – all of you are welcome to join in. This is not a deacon-only or elder-only event. It belongs to all of us. We want to encourage people to join us in. The point is you are invited to support the activities however you feel led to respond.
