Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. What is “VBS”?
A. VBS stands for Vacation Bible School – it is a super-fun week-long morning experience designed to teach children more about the love and power of God in our world in a safe and exciting environment. We learn from the Bible about making the world a better place, loving each other, Jesus’ sacrifice for us, and what we can do when life gets hard and confusing.

Q. When is Brunswick Church’s VBS this year (2021)?
A. July 5-9. Monday-Friday. Each morning 9-12.

Q. Where is VBS this year?
A. At Brunswick Church, 42 White Church LN, Troy, NY 12180

Q. Who can participate?
A. Everyone – We need all the kids (ages 4 through completed 5th grade) in the area to come and help us learn how JESUS’ POWER PULLS US THROUGH!!!   AND we need teens and adults to volunteer (completed 6th grade and older) as leaders and assistants.

A. YES!

A.  There will be tons of great Rocky Railway decorations… Possibly including… (shhhh!)  a big train. Woot Woot!

Q: How will COVID affect this VBS?
A: We will be running a very well-thought-out VBS, whether indoor or outside in giant tents, based on all of the current government guidelines and local wisdom. Our plan is that all our crew leaders be fully vaccinated. Rest assured it will be safe and fun for everyone! Please contact Niki with any specific questions, while being aware that the “plan” will continue to evolve as we constantly  track the newest safety information. (niki@brunswickchurch.org)
