Prelude  “Sing” – Ellie Holcomb

Who sang the first song?
Who hummed the first tune?
Was it the wind blowing past the moon?
Were the stars making noise as they sparkled at night?
Did the sun sing a song as it colored the sky?

Sing, sing, sing. Sing, sing, sing

Did the waves make a song as they crashed to the shore?
Or was it the whales?Or the lions’ first ROAR?
Did the first flowers hum as they burst into bloom?
Or was the first song when the thunder went BOOM?
Sing, sing, sing. Sing, sing, sing

Maybe elephants running loud over the ground
Or maybe the birds made the first singing sound
All these guesses we’ve made are quite good but they’re wrong
It was God our Maker who sang the first song

When God made the earth, He decided to sing
And He wrote His song into everything
God’s song says you’re good, you are wonderfully made
And I’ll never stop loving you all of your days
Sing, sing, sing. Sing, sing, sing (Repeat)

So now we all know who sang the first song
God who made us knew all along
That every heart and every thing
Was born with a song it was made to sing
Sing, sing, sing. Sing, sing, sing (Repeat 4x)

When God made the earth, He decided to sing
And He wrote His song into everything

When God made the earth, He decided to sing
And He wrote His song into everything

I will worship You With all of my heart
And I will worship You With all of my mind
And I will worship You With all of my strength
For You are my Lord, you are my Lord

More love more power More of You in my life
More love more power More of You in my life

More love more power More of You in my life
More love more power More of You in my life

And I will worship You With all of my heart
And I will worship You With all of my mind
And I will worship You With all of my strength
For You are my Lord, you are my Lord

More faith more passion More of You in my life
More faith more passion More of You in my life

And I will worship You With all of my heart
And I will worship You With all of my mind
And I will worship You With all of my strength
For You are my Lord

I will worship You With all of my heart
And I will worship You With all of my mind
And I will worship You With all of my strength
For You are my Lord, for You are my Lord,
For You are my Lord, You are my Lord

Prayer of Approach

Song of Praise “Even Then”

On the nights when the dark
Lasts a little bit longer
When the wind and the storm
Is a little bit stronger
When the fear in my heart
Digs a little bit deeper
When my faith to stand
Gets a little bit weaker

Where could I run to Where could I go

Even when it feels like my world is shaken
Even when I’ve had all that I can take, I know
You never let me go whoa
And even when the waters won’t stop rising
Even when I’m caught in the dead of night, I know
No matter how it ends
You’re with me even then

When the days up ahead
Look a little bit brighter
But the grip of the past
Holds a little bit tighter
I’m reminded Your grace
Never asks for perfection
Oh I’m restored ’cause I’m Yours
And I stand forgiven

Even when it feels like my world is shaken
Even when I’ve had all that I can take, I know
You never let me go whoa
And even when the waters won’t stop rising
Even when I’m caught in the dead of night, I know
No matter how it ends
You’re with me even then

And even in the middle of a struggle
And even when it’s hard to remember
You alone are my defense when
I’m standing on Your promises and I know
That even in the thick of the battle
And even through the valley of the shadows
You alone are my defense when
I’m standing on Your promises so

Where could I run to Where could I go

Even when it feels like my world is shaken
Even when I’ve had all that I can take, I know
You never let me go whoa
And even when the waters won’t stop rising
Even when I’m caught in the dead of night, I know
No matter how it ends
You’re with me even then

You’re with me yeah
No matter how it ends
You’re with me even then

Homily

Song of PraiseThe Reckoning”  – Andrew Peterson

I can see the storm descending on the hill tonight
Tall trees are bending to your will tonight
Oh let the mighty bow down
At the thundering sound of your voice
I can hear the howling wind and feel the rain tonight
Every drop a prophet in your name tonight
Oh and the song that they sing
It is washing me clean, but how long, how long

How long until this curtain is lifted?
How long, how long is this the song that we sing?
How long until the reckoning?

And I know you hear the cries of every soul tonight
You see the teardrops as they roll tonight
Down the faces of saints
Who grow weary and faint in your fields

And the wicked roam the cities and the streets tonight
But when the God of love and thunder speaks tonight
I believe You will come
Your justice be done, but how long, how long

Oh the reckoning
You are holiness and grace. You are fury and rest
You are anger and love. You curse and you bless
You are mighty and weak. You are silence and song
You are plain as the day, But you have hidden your face–
For how long? How long?

And I am standing in the stillness of the reckoning
The storm is past and rest is beckoning
Mighty God, how I fear you
How I long to be near you, O Lord, how long, how long

How long until the burden is lifted?
How long how long is this the song that we sing?
How long until the reckoning?
And I know, I know
And I know that I don’t know what I’m asking
But I long, I long to look you full in the face
I am ready for the reckoning

Pastoral Prayer/Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
as we forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

Song of Praise “Scars” – I Am They

Waking up to a new sunrise
Looking back from the other side
I can see now with open eyes

Darkest water and deepest pain
I wouldn’t trade it for anything
‘Cause my brokenness brought me to you
And these wounds are a story you’ll use

So I’m thankful for the scars
‘Cause without them I wouldn’t know your heart
And I know they’ll always tell of who you are
So forever I am thankful for the scars

Now I’m standing in confidence
With the strength of your faithfulness
And I’m not who I was before
No, I don’t have to fear anymore

So I’m thankful for the scars
‘Cause without them I wouldn’t know your heart
And I know they’ll always tell of who you are
So forever I am thankful for the scars

I can see, I can see, how you delivered me
In your hands, in your feet I found my victory
I can see, I can see, how you delivered me
In your hands, in your feet I found my victory

I’m thankful for your scars
‘Cause without them I wouldn’t know your heart
And with my life, I’ll tell of who you are
So forever I am thankful

I’m thankful for the scars
‘Cause without them I wouldn’t know your heart
And I know they’ll always tell of who you are
So forever I am thankful for the scars
So forever I am thankful for the scars

Song of Praise “Power Of Your Love”

Lord I come to You
Let my heart be changed renewed
Flowing from the grace
That I found in You
And Lord I’ve come to know
The weaknesses I see in me
Will be stripped away
By the pow’r of Your love

Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I’ll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the pow’r of Your love

Lord unveil my eyes
Let me see You face to face
The knowledge of Your love
As You live in me
Lord renew my mind
As Your will unfolds in my life
In living ev’ry day
By the pow’r of Your love

Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I’ll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the pow’r of Your love

Hold me close
Let Your love surround me
Bring me near
Draw me to Your side
And as I wait
I’ll rise up like the eagle
And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the pow’r of Your love

And I will soar with You
Your Spirit leads me on
In the pow’r of Your love
