Immediate changes to worship guidelines

Dear Friends:

In accordance with CDC and New York State guidance, the Session has updated our policy with regard to Sunday morning worship. We are thankful for God’s great providence, enabling us to announce the following changes:

—those who are fully vaccinated are no longer required to wear a mask or distance socially. although they may choose to continue doing so

—those who are not vaccinated or are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask while indoors and to distance socially

—reservations will no longer be required, nor is there a sign-in station with screening questions

—hand sanitizer and masks are available at the two entrances by the back parking lot and by the Commons near the small kitchen

—doors to the worship center will open at 9:15 am with the service starting at 9:30 am

—we will continue to use our projected screens for worship order and content (as opposed to bulletins)

—we will continue collecting our offering in baskets by the worship center doorways

—we will be able to sing, with or without masks, as determined by vaccination category

—we will partake of the Lord’s Supper using pre-packaged elements

—there may occasionally be limited radiator heat or air conditioning, so please dress accordingly

Please remember that we will have members and friends on-site who are not able to be vaccinated given their age or health condition. We ask your cooperation faithfully to live into our new guidelines by wearing a mask as required by NYS and the CDC.

As additional CDC and NYS information is released, our Session will consider and communicate further guidance in the coming days.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me ( or to any of our Session members (

As we do every week, we look forward to gathering together to worship our God as a family of faith, as safely as we are able.

Thank you for your loving support and helpful cooperation! Thanks be to God in all things!
