This week we celebrate the birthday of the church. Come join us as we lift up God in a worship and fellowship. We are going to have a single worship service at 10:30am on Sunday and enjoy our risen Lord, who sent the spirit to be our advocate. Let’s pray togeather:
Almighty God, who has given me life and breath, and another day: I do not know what this day might bring. For men make plans, and their plans come to naught, as you will it. Thus I take this day out of my hands and submit it to your will. Make me this day your servant, that I might find my hand at the tasks you have meant for me to do, and might do them as well as I can. For there is nothing better than a person should rejoice in his work, to your glory and for the love of his neighbors, as you have commanded us through your Son. In His name, I pray, let my day be yours, and let it be filled with goodness and faith.
Amen.

Last summer, a group from Brunswick Church attended the Global Leadership Summit and walked away with fresh knowledge, insight, and ideas as to how we can better serve our Lord, our community and ourselves. This annual summit is being held Thursday, August 8 & Friday, August 9 at Grace Fellowship in Halfmoon. The Early Bird cost is currently $189 ($149 if we get a team of 10 or more) per person and there are discounts available for students, teachers, and veterans ($89). The Early Bird price ends on May 21, then the price goes up. Please contact Office Manager Colleen Lais if you are interested in going.

New Details
Beginning the week of June 10, we will be running two 4-week Bible Studies. We will be studying the scripture texts for the coming week’s sermon, and we will be teaching a method that helps us understand and learn to read scripture critically.
Monday: 7 PM time in the downstairs Community Room; Bob Clarke will be leading.
Wednesday: 6:30 PM in the downstairs Community Room; our summer intern, Dan McAuley will be leading.
Please consider coming to one of these studies. For more information feel free to email Niki Campbell, Director of Nurture Ministries at niki@brunswickchurch.org., or the study leaders themselves. Dan at danmacauley@brunswickchurch.org or Bob at rclarke1@nycap.rr.com
All are welcome at either study!

Could It Be A Sign?
Brunswick’s wonderful Building and Grounds Team is working hard toward getting a digital sign installed. Until that happens, we need to change the wording on the sign we now have, and that has to be done manually! We’d like to have coverage through July. We need volunteers to join the ranks.
If you’d be willing to sign up for a turn to change the sign you can do so at http://signup.com/go/fCwArUg
This is the same online scheduling program that the pantry uses, and it works well. OR, you can email your choice of the week, send to Gail Swota at gswota@gmail.com, and we’ll get you onto the schedule!
