It is hard to believe, especially if you look at the weather, but summer is just around the corner and we are starting a series inspired by the themes from this years VBS, Wild Bible Adventures. This week is also special because you will get your first chance to meet the newest member of our pastoral staff, Rev. Dr. Ted Wright. Pastor Ted is coming on board as a parish associate to help while we search for an associate pastor. He is not and does not want to be the associate pastor, but he brings many years of experience and wisdom to this call. You can read more about him in the article below, just click on the link. Oh Lord, as we come before You in Jesus’ name we Your people will praise You with our innermost being, Father, we praise Your Holy name. We will not forget Your benefits and we give You praise and thanksgiving because You have forgiven our sins and healed our diseases. We praise You because You have redeemed our life from the pit and crowned us with compassion. Father, we praise You because You satisfy our desires with good things and You renew our Youth like the eagles. Last summer, a group from Brunswick Church attended the Global Leadership Summit and walked away with fresh knowledge, insight, and ideas as to how we can better serve our Lord, our community and ourselves. This annual summit is being held Thursday, August 8 & Friday, August 9 at Grace Fellowship in Halfmoon. The Early Bird cost is currently $189 ($149 if we get a team of 10 or more) per person and there are discounts available for students, teachers, and veterans ($89). The Early Bird price ends on May 21, then the price goes up. Please contact Office Manager Colleen Lais if you are interested in going. |

BIBLE STUDIES!
Beginning the week of June 10 we will be running two 4-week Bible Studies. We will be studying the scripture texts for the coming week, and we will be teaching a method that helps us understand and learn to read scripture critically. One will be lead by our summer Intern, Dan. The other will be lead by Bob Clarke, one of our passionate scripture teachers. Stay tuned to learn days and times for these studies! You do not need to have every studied the Bible before, but it will be engaging for those who have been engaging with scripture for a while.

Youth Movie Night!
This Summer, once a month, we will be hosting a Wednesday Movie Night from 6-8 PM. Anyone completing 5th Grader- through Seniors will be welcome to join us. It will be a time to hang out and watch a fun movie. You are encouraged to invite friends.
Our next movie night will be June 5th, with a viewing of “The Princess Bride.”

Brunswick’s wonderful Building and Grounds Team is working hard toward getting a digital sign installed. Until that happens, we need to change the wording on the sign we now have, and that has to be done manually! We’d like to have coverage through July. We need volunteers to join the ranks.
